Ondřej Meca is a researcher at IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center and Ph.D. student at the Department of Computer science, VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava.

His research includes development of tool Kaira, that provides a high-level environment for creating MPI applications. He is the main author of the verification engine in Kaira. This engine is able to ensure that created MPI applications are without deadlock. He is also developer of a library ESPRESO, where he is mainly responsible for preparing data and connection to other software.
