Tomáš Brzobohatý obtained his Ph.D. degree in applied mechanics.

He is a researcher at IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center.

His work experience includes: visiting Scholar at Stanford University - Department of Aeronautics & Astronautics (prof Farhat’s Research Group), and DAAD scholarship at Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany (prof Wriggers’ group). His research interests include development of scalable algorithms for large-scale problems, research activities in domain decomposition methods, structural mechanics, reliable solution of nonlinear problems, mechanical contact problems, acoustic problems, heat transfer, fluid dynamics and fluid-structure.
